Oculis is a team of ophthalmologists and professionals specialized in outsourcing of Ophthalmology Services in Hospitals, Clinics, and Polyclinics .
On the other hand, we carry out ad-hoc eye examinations in: Schools (for students), Provincial Councils (for workers), Companies (for employees), Parliament of Catalonia (for Parliamentarians). For these examinations we travel with our equipment to the client’s facilities, or if preferred we organize the group to come and visit us at our offices.
Origins
The project began in 2006 with the union of Dr. Ernesto Duarte (ophthalmologist) and Enric Baulenas (economist) , with the idea of creating two lines of action that were separate on a day-to-day basis, but at the same time coordinated with each other.
Dr. Duarte would be in charge of the medical area and Enric of the management and growth area.
Oculis was created with the aim of covering the growing need of Hospitals, Clinics and Polyclinics to outsource the ophthalmology service as a whole.
Over time, different professional profiles have been integrated into the project in each area, mainly ophthalmologists , optometrists and nurses in the medical area and administrators, accountants, economists, engineers and social graduates in the management area, to form a diverse team of professionals eager to provide quality services efficiently.
